Hello, Old Friend: New Batch of Supercharged Yogurt, Just in Time.

Posted by

Hello, readers, followers, friends! Just a quick update on the autoimmune/supercharged yogurt fronts!

The BioGaia Gastrus tablets arrived Friday afternoon and I made a fresh batch of yogurt yesterday (if all this is new to you, read this and this for a bit of background).

I just ate my first yogurt in roughly a month and if you ask me, it’s just in time — my digestion’s gotten a bit wonky and stuck the last week or so (I’d been on and off of the Seed pills, mostly off, the last few days). I do feel like I’m having a tiny bit of a histamine response right this moment as I write this, which is normal when I start the yogurt. It typically goes away after about 5-10 minutes and may happen for a few days, then totally subsides as my body adjusts. I just see it as a maybe a sign that there really are boosted probiotics in this stuff, as is the hope.

And this morning, I noticed that my eyebrows appear to be thinning! UUUUGGGGHHH!!! In addition, my scalp feels weird, kind of like the deadish feeling it had way back when Doc upped the dosage of adaptogens that I was on and my poor body went bonkers! Yowza!!!! Hopefully, these bad/sad things will reverse course soon, we’ll see!

I also received my second batch of Seed in the mail yesterday (dang pretty, those pills are!). Although I won’t be doing the daily double dose of those anymore and have cancelled my subscription, I’ll use what I have by taking a pill every other day or so, just to add to the probiotic mix in this body o’mine.

Also, I’d promised pics for you and I’ll take one this morning so that we have a new starting point now that I’m back on the yogurt. Because I rarely take pics of me (selfies, I believe they’re called, is that what I’ve heard? 🙂 ), it may take me a day or two to get them properly sized (I won’t make any tweaks to try and get them prettier, they’re quite ugly but I know you’re not judging…). I’ll post this morning’s along with the one I took last December when all the brows had bailed, and another from the end of the first supercharged yogurt experiment/start of Seed.

Thanks for checking in, I’m excited because when I’d made/eaten the yogurt before, there were so many good results and I hope that my body responds the same way this time around, too.

As always, I’ll keep you posted and thank you for checking in, too!

Cheers, happy health to you! xoxoxoxoxoxo
