Author: howdy, sunshine!

I'm a Buffalo, New York-based writer, daughter, sister, friend. I'm also known as Scott's partner and as mom to a beautiful dog named Ella. As a kid, I was incredibly fortunate to spend 11 summers at a wonderful camp and I highly recommend that we all try to create a little bit of summer camp in our lives, every day. During an experiment in chemistry class in eleventh grade, our teacher determined that I have a higher-than-average likelihood of getting struck by lightning. I've also had an autoimmune glitch for 20 years and I'm hoping to overcome it (emotionally, at least, and physically, too, I hope) because I've let it prevent me from participating in some really cool things over the years. After some half-assed attempts, this is my wholehearted try. Thanks for checking out my journey. (PS: I'm also notoriously camera-shy but will update a pic soon, I think).
